The Business Development Manager manages and expands the company’s presence in offline channels: pharmacies, lifestyle stores (café, spas, gyms, hotels, clinics, etc), corporate and modern trade channels (supermarkets, hypermarkets, convenience stores, and retail stores) and supervises sales event team. This role focuses on developing effective sales strategies, managing key accounts, and driving sales growth across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow market share within pharmacies, lifestyle stores, modern trade, and retail store channels, ensuring optimal product placement, visibility, and revenue.
  • Develop and expand “Lifestyle stores” such as cafes, Spas, Gyms, Hotels, Clinics, etc.
  • Set, monitor, and achieve sales targets and budgets for the channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in modern trade (supermarkets, hypermarkets, convenience stores) and retail stores, such as organic shops and specialty health retailers.
  • Identify and pursue new growth opportunities in modern trade and retail stores.
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and channel promotional agreements.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations with all channel partners, including order management, stock control, and in-store execution.
  • Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for product distribution and revenue growth.
  • Plan and implement promotional activities, product launches, and in-store events tailored for modern trade and retail channels.
  • Manage trade spending efficiently, ensuring a strong ROI on promotions and marketing activities.
  • Led, train, and develop a sales team, including sales representatives and merchandisers, ensuring alignment with the company’s sales strategy for offline channel, modern trade and retail stores.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in sales, with a focus on business development and modern trade.
  • Proven track record in managing key accounts and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with sales data and market insights to drive business decisions.
  • Analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
